How do people *really* use their cell phones? [INFOGRAPHIC]

Remember the days when phones were about... talking?

Now we've got much more going on: mobile apps, mobile video, mobile advertising.

Lucky that Inneractive, with tawkon, delved a bit deeper into the 'talking' aspect of mobile phone use. Some of the more fascinating findings:

  • Biggest doesn't mean more talking: China, while making the top 5 in average talk time, falls behind the U.S., Italy, France, and Greece. Not much to talk about over there?
  • Multi-task much? Sweden's ahead when it comes to accessory usage, which means a freed up screen for more app interaction while on calls.
  • Best country for battery life? This is for sure: The U.K. seems to be the worst of countries examined; battery consumption there is highest. Battery life is associated with transmission levels, and when they're lower, it means more battery drain.
More findings below. Happy talking!
