If only there were an Android app that could sleep for us, a nice long 12 hours a night...
Well, until such a thing exists, there's Sleep as Android. Like tracking your food intake, fitness activity and cell phone radiation exposure, this app monitors your sleep so you can "wake up gently with nature sounds in optimal sleep phase."
If you don't live near a rooster or have young kids to wake you up, this could be a pretty healthy way to try and be sensitive to our natural sleep rhythms, which we torture with our unnatural work and social schedules.
Actually, there's even a name for it: social jet lag, and it could be affecting our health, and our waistlines.
So if you're looking to improve the quality of the few ZzZZzZz's you have left, it might be worth checking out the free trial and see - or sleep - for yourself.
Oh, and my favorite part? The CAPTCHA feature to check if you're really awake. One of the options is 'Sleeping sheeps.' You have to tap the sheep that isn't snoozing...
