2012: A Year in Review

Goodbye 2012 and hello 2013. Eventhough many people didn't think we would live past December 21st of this year, it looks like we are in the clear.

This time of year is always one for reflection of the past 12 months, and for the year ahead. So let's take a few moments to look at the amazing things that have happened in 2012.

For us, 2012 was a year of rebirth. We took this labor of love we call tawkon and revitilized it into the amazing application that you all love today. We are continuing to focus all our efforts on making tawkon even better and we are very much looking forward to bring you all a way to live happier, healthy lives.

So many things happened in 2012 that it’s difficult to sum up the year. The mobile industry has passed three key milestones in 2012: more than 1 million apps available, more than 100 million tablets and more than 1 billion smartphones in consumers’ pockets! At tawkon we see this as an even greater opportunity to bring our amazing application to more people around the world.

As with years past, this year saw a plethora of new phones that revolutionized the market. With their new features, faster processors and exciting new OS's, these phones became the staples of 2012, and will most likely continue into 2013.

Some of these phones include:

Galaxy S3

iPhone 5

Google Nexus 4

We also saw a further proliferation of the OS wars. What started as a monopoly by Apple, soon became a battle of two powerhouses, iOS and Google's Android OS. This year we saw a new player, The Windows Phone

So what will 2013 bring? What we can tell you for sure is that tawkon will be making some huge leaps forward. Make sure to keep your ears open for some of our upcoming announcements. I can't say more than that right now, but you can be sure that your experience with tawkon will be pushing the envelope.

While we have your attention, we wanted to take this time to wish you a happy and health new year. May this year bring you joy and good health!

It is a new years tradition to make a "resolution"... and then never actually follow through with it. Whether it is to eat better, go to the gym more or quit a bad habit, most people never keep to their resolutions. In fact, only 8% of resolutions are ever kept to! So this year, make a resolution you can keep to.

Download tawkon and take control of your health and wellness.
